Care Instructions: Dishwasher safe. Important if using 'hard water' to clean, the mineral in the water can sometimes leave a powdery residue on the silicone. Some areas will have a higher mineral content in the water and would be why it only happens on the odd occasion. A easy way to remove the residue is just soaking it in vinegar or wiping over the lunchbox with vinegar. Alternatively adding a little vinegar to the dishwasher will prevent this from happening.
